The Sixth Blood Donation Event of Sathapana Bank Plc.’s Staffs

On 24th June 2016 at Kampong Cham Branch, Sathapana Bank Plc. held the annual blood donation event for The National Blood Transfusion Center with the participation of 75 of the staff members.

This is Sathapana Bank Plc.’s sixth annual blood donating event to save patients on a daily basis.

Mr. Vong Sokhal, Chief Planning Officer of Sathapana Bank Plc. and the representative of Okhna Dr. Bun Mony, Chief Executive Officer, noted that “Blood is very important for saving lives, and it cannot, as of yet, be manufactured through artificial processes or transport from other countries. Blood collected by way of voluntary is a good humanitarian activity, and it doesn’t harm to blood donators.  The staffs of Sathapana Bank Plc. will continue to support this humanitarian action so as to increase the amount of blood donated to The National Blood Transfusion Center, especially act as a role model for other institutions.  Sathapana Bank Plc.doesn’t focus solely on profit, but we usually spare our hectic time to involve in social activities and to upgrade Cambodia’s living standard through access to competitive financial services complied with the Bank slogan “Sathapana, the people’s bank, makes your life better”. Mr. Ky Roetha, Head of Marketing and the organizer of the annual blood donation event for The National Transfusion Center, said that “Sathapana Bank Plc. always care about the public and clients’ needs. The involvements in social welfare such as the donation to The National Blood Transfusion Center, Red Cross, public hospital, orphan and other victims are parts of Sathapana Bank Plc.’s mission since the establishment in 1995.
