Sathapana Bank is pleased to announce that Mr. LIM Aun is the new candidate of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Sathapana Bank from 01st February 2019, to succeed Mr. KATO Norihiko whose employment mandate is ended.
Mr. LIM Aun has been selected and nominated as the CEO of Sathapana Bank in respect to the Board Resolution and was officially approved by National Bank of Cambodia (NBC) on 01st February, 2019.
Mr. LIM Aun is a well experienced banker who has over 20 years working experience with financial institutions and international audit firm. Prior to joining Sathapana Limited, he previously served as Senior Auditor at KPMG from 1997 to 2002 where he had a wide auditing exposure including a year’s stint in Malaysia. In 2002, he started working at Vattanac Bank, a Commercial Bank in Cambodia, and held various managerial positions such as Main Branch Senior Manager, Head of Finance and Treasury, Head of Operations, and lastly, Deputy General Manager until his resignation from the bank in November 2012. He joined Sathapana Limited as Chief Operating Officer (COO) in December 2012, and was promoted to Deputy Chief Executive Officer in August 2014 in addition to his current COO position.
Therefore, the breadth of experience of Mr. LIM Aun in banking sector makes Sathapana Bank believe that he shall strongly contribute to lead the bank in the further growth and success and especially to obtain the tremendous trust from our employees, customers and partners.
