Phnom Penh, 12 May 2020 – Sathapana Bank officially announced today its partnership with eMoney offering an easy and secure way of fund transfer between a Sathapana bank account and eMoney wallet using Sathapana Mobile and eMoney App.
The partnership also allows Sathapana customers to do cash deposit, in addition to loan repayment, at more than 8,000 eMoney agents located all over Cambodia.
“This partnership with eMoney is a continuing testament to our aspiration to be the leader in Cambodia in terms of the digital banking experience while offering the best in class customer experience,” said Mr. Lim Aun, Chief Executive Officer of Sathapana Bank.
Mr. Lim also emphasized that Sathapana Bank is digitalizing more processes to fulfill the bank’s convenient and safe, anywhere anytime customer pledge. He added that the alliance with eMoney will make it even easier for customers to perform cashless transactions.
"This partnership will provide more convenience for both customers of eMoney and Sathapana Bank. eMoney agents will also become a bank counter since it will allow Sathapana customers to do cash deposits to their accounts through our over 8,000 agents nationwide," said Mr. Pham Doan Cuong, Chief Executive Officer of eMoney.
To celebrate the partnership, customers can transfer money from Sathapana Mobile to eMoney App and from eMoney App to Sathapana Mobile with ZERO fee charge. And for Sathapana loan customers making loan repayment at any eMoney agents, they will only pay 50% of the service fee. The promotion will run from May 11 to July 31, 2020.
